The Art of the Scarf
Designed by Jenny Kee
Styled brilliantly by Luke Sales and Anna Plunkett of Romance Was Born.
Terrific designer combination. MBFWA 2012 standout. Tribal inspired. Sensory overload. Extreme styling. So many pretty colours. Flora and Fauna. Silk. Insane prints. Exotic.
You may need to be reminded that some of these pieces have been archived for 30 years.
The prints fresh from the 80’s aren’t as obvious as you’d think. No matter how ridiculous that generation was, Kee’s work is always wearable.
Perfect commemoration of Jenny Kee’s incredible designs and remarkable career.
For Us By Us – Fashion Film
An intriguingly beautiful short film and an incredible project to be a part of. The film is the result of a collaboration of creative talent with a strong passion for the project. Whilst watching the film at the Tribal theatre, the audience became so quiet you could have heard a pin drop. If you didn’t get a chance to attend the premiere, the fashion film is now online – along with the documentary.
Many thanks to the For Us By Us team – I had a fantastic time being involved!
Courtney Vogler by Elliot and Erick Jeminez for Material Girl.
Adorable. Looks as though it has been attacked by a 7 year old with a glitter pen.
